About Mr Hindley
Richard Hindley was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in 2004 at HHFT. His interests are Prostate and renal problems, men’s health issues and image guidance for early cancer detection. He is a leading expert in prostate research and had 10 publications in high quality journals in 2015.
Mr Hindley is a core member of the prostate MRI trial study group and the results of this study are likely to have a major impact on the future diagnosis of prostate cancer. The results are due to be presented later this year. He is also an expert in the Surgical treatment of benign prostate conditions and is able to offer laser prostate surgery as well as the new Urolift procedure.
About Mr Nedas
Mr Nedas started as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2012 and has been practising privately in Hampshire since 2013. Mr Nedas sees both male and female, adult and paediatric patients in the NHS and private sector. Mr Nedas offers consultations for urological problems such as raised PSA, diagnosis of malignant and benign prostate conditions including fusion prostate biopsies, urinary frequency, frequent UTI’s, scrotal and foreskin issues, prostatitis and vasectomy. He has training and interest in in the management of kidney stone disease for which he offers surgical options as well as preventative measures. He also offers a general paediatric urology service including the treatment of enuresis (bedwetting), dysfunctional voiding, foreskin issues and undescended testicles. He sees patients in both Basingstoke and Winchester.
