Mr Dominic Simon

Mr Simon is a highly experienced and skilled Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon based at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, with additional practices at Candover Clinic. Qualifications include BSc in Anatomy and an MBBS from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. He has developed his expertise through rigorous surgical training in a London registrar rotation and an Oxford Upper Limb Fellowship under Professor Carr and a Master of Surgery degree (University of London, The Royal Veterinary College and St Mary’s Hospital) under Professor Pitsalides and Professor Emery focused on rotator cuff disease.

Specializing in upper limb surgery, Mr Simon employs both arthroscopic and open surgical techniques to address a wide range of conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist. His proficiency includes complex procedures such as shoulder replacements, trauma surgery, and sports-related injuries, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

As a qualified Ultrasonographer, he enhances his diagnostic approach with ultrasound scans and guided injections, further elevating the quality of care provided.
