Training & Qualifications
- 1995 – BSc and MBBS with distinctions from Guys & St Thomas Hospitals in London
- Junior doctor training in London working at Guys, Lewisham, Hammersmith, The Royal Brompton, St Thomas’s, and The Whittington Hospitals.
- 1998 Membership – Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
- After attaining her membership, she was appointed to The Oxford Deanery Gastroenterology training programme where she received specialist training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and complex Gastroenterological conditions.
- Undertook a PhD at the Royal Free Hospital and completed her training (CCST) and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2007.
- Accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist.

Contact UsHaving been a consultant since 2006, Dr Saich is an experienced consultant. She enjoys all aspects of Gastroenterology and cares for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s disease and Colitis) and other causes of bowel disturbance.
Dr Saich is a bowl cancer screening colonoscopist and highly skilled in advanced endoscopic techniques ensuring thorough, safe, comfortable procedures.
Although there are many complex medicines and procedures which she provides she believes the most important skill is listening. By making a patient feel at ease to talk about symptoms she can gather clear history. This enables her to reach a likely cause of the symptoms and to perform the right tests to rapidly confirm the diagnosis and start treatment.
In addition to the state of the art endoscopy service she provides, Dr Saich is fortunate to be supported by truly outstanding Radiologists, Dieticians, Nurses, GI physiologists, Pharmacists and Surgeons.
