Dr Mike Rossiter

Dr Mike Rossiter has worked with a variety of professional sports for over 25 years, including Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for GB Hockey, CMO for GB Synchronised swimming and as a Club Doctor in both Football and Rugby. He has attended four summer Olympic Games (one as Deputy CMO for Team GB), 7 Commonwealth Games (3 as CMO for Team England), CMO for the Winter Olympics, as well as European and World Cups. He is currently clinical lead for Premiership Rugby and the Premiership Match Day Doctors, one of the matchday doctors at Twickenham, covering immediate care for Club and International players,or as one of the independent match day doctors for concussion (including the Men’s Rugby World Cup final in 2015 and Women’s final in 2025), tutor on the RFU’s Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in Sport Course since 2005 and independent match reviewer for concussive events in Rugby from Premiership to International matches. He is also a member of the UK anti-doping medical committee. He is actively involved in research across several sporting areas.
