Professor Phillips teaches pioneering keyhole surgery to consultants and trainees from around the world
Professor Phillips is a world “key opinion leader” in the management of prolapse and incontinence. He is one of a very few surgeons performing laparoscopic colposuspension and laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy in the UK. He is one of the faculty for both the International and European Urogynaecological Associations (IUGA & EUGA) and the Bristish Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG) teaching pioneering surgery to surgeons from around the world. Professor Phillips is the head of the Department of Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction at Hampshire Hospitals and The Candover Suite is the private centre for his laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.
