Dr Laura Corsinovi

Dr Corsinovi graduated with honours in 2001 in Medicine (Genoa, Italy). She had her medical training both in Italy and in the UK.  She became Consultant in Geriatrics and General Medicine in 2005 (Turin, Italy). She completed a PhD (higher medical research degree) in clinical Sciences In 2008. She completed another CCT in Cardiology in 2015. She has gained broad medical knowledge working for many years in Italy in quaternary Hospitals in Turin-in northern Italy-and in the UK. She is specialized in echocardiography, advanced echocardiography -stress echocardiogram, trans-oesophageal echocardiogram- in magnetic cardiac resonance and in cardiac CT and she old several international certifications in these areas (European Society of cardiology Certification for transthoracic echocardiogram and transoesophageal echocardiogram,  Society of cardiovascular imaging for cardiac MRI, Society of cardiovascular t CT for CTCA)  She has published several articles in international peer reviewed journals.  She arrived to the United Kingdom in 2014 to work at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital for a research project and she has never left the UK  as she has found in Britain a perfect environment where to work and live. Since 2016 she has been working as a Locum and after permanent Consultant Cardiologist at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. She works in close collaboration with the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
